Immigration law in Poland
Due to increasing globalization and the associated flow of capital, services and people, more and more foreign companies are choosing to do business in Poland. While entities and individuals from other countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area do not have major problems with staying in Poland and providing work in Poland, foreigners from so-called third countries must meet a number of requirements in order to obtain a temporary residence permit. In addition, a temporary residence permit is often linked to a work permit. The immigration law in force in Poland imposes a number of formal conditions for legalizing residence and work.
